Jah Prayzah To Share Stage With Masekela

Multi-award winning musician, Jah Prayzah is set to share the stage with African music gurus including Hugh Masekela, Faada Freddy and Jojo Abot at one of Africa’s premier music festival MTN Bushfire in Swaziland in May.

The festival set to be held from the 26th  to 28th of May this year will be third international festival, the lanky musician has participated in since his rise to the top a few years ago.

In an interview with 263chat Jah Prayzah’s manager, Keen Musapaidze said they were excited with the prospects of sharing the stage with music gurus in Africa although it is not their first time to perform internationally.

“It is going to be our first time to visit Swaziland; we hope that people from there are going to like our music as we are on rise.

“We are not the first Zimbabwean group to be playing at that festival, Dr Oliver Mutukudzi and Mukoomba have been there and we know that after this we are also going to open doors for other musician,” said Mushapaidze.

He added that after the Swaziland festival, Jah Prayzah will be heading to South Africa where he will also perform at the Baseline Music Festival.

Mushapaidze said as a group they owe their success to fans, “who have made us who we are today and the organizers of these event for selecting us also.”
