Love Triangle, Guvamombe’s Wife Sues Girlfriend for $100 000

Suspended chief magistrate Mishrod Guvamonbe’s love triangle has turned nasty after his wife demanded $100 000 for adultery damage from the girlfriend.

The wife of the embattled courts boss, Angeline Guvamombe, who is the former officer commanding of the Zimbabwe Republic Police, (ZRP) Support Unit summoned Sheila Mandiseka for being her husband’s mistress.

Guvamombe’s wife filed summons at High Court claiming that Mandiseka has caused adultery damages.

Guvamombe said that the extramarital affair with her husband offended her.

Guvamombe’s wife said she is still married to the suspended chief magistrate in terms of Marriage Act  [Chapter 5:11] of the 25th of February 2000 at Bindura and the marriage still subsists.

According to summons filed at High Court, she claimed that the two, Guvamombe and his mistress ended up siring a child as a result of sexual intercourse in different occasions.

Guvamombe is already facing two criminal abuse of office charges on different dockets and the other one is after he allegedly offered work-related attachment to former Cabinet ministers Saviour Kasukuwere and Supa Mandiwanzira at the Harare magistrates’ court.

The two former ministers are also facing corruption-related charges at the same court and were offered the attachment on the basis of being law students at the University of Zimbabwe.

On another docket, he is also answering to criminal abuse of office charges following allegations of influencing a subordinate to recuse himself in a matter he had interests.

In addition to being arrested, the Chief Magistrate was also suspended from work for three months pending an investigation into the alleged misconduct.

The suspended Chief magistrate, is currently out on $3 000 bail.
