Jonathan Moyo still to appear in Court
Under fire Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Professor Jonathan Moyo is still to appear in court despite earlier indications that his case will be heard today (Friday).
Our reporter, Shorai Murwira who is at the Harare Magistrates Court confirmed that the Tsholotsho legislator has not featured at the court though he was reportedly excluded from President Robert Mugabe’s delegation attending National University of Science and Technology graduation ceremony.
However Moyo’s lawyer, Terrence Hussein insisted that he will appear in court today.
“Professor Moyo will be in court most probably tomorrow morning (today). I cannot shed more light but he will definitely be in court,” Hussein said.
The Tsholotsho legislator is jointly accused with his deputy, Dr Godfrey Gandawa of siphoning state funds from Zimbabwe Manpower Development (ZIMDEF).
