Arenel-Nash football tournament kicks off

All is set for Arenel – NASH 17 and under football tournament provincial finals in Bulawayo and Harare tomorrow.

In Bulawayo eight teams are expected to battle it out for honours in the city of Kings and nine schools are expected in Harare finals with one winner expected to come out tops in the two finals to book a place at the National Finals set for early August.

The finals in Bulawayo will be hosted at Emtumbeni High School and Gilford High whilst the Harare provincials’ finals will be held at Vainona High.

Twelve teams are expected to participate at the national finals, which will be made up of provincial winners together with tournament host and last year’s NASH 17 and under defending champions concluding the list of national finalists.

Arenel and NASH signed a one year renewable contract, a deal that will see biscuits and sweets company sponsoring the football tournament to an amount of more than $150 000 this year.

Meanwhile Arenel will be handing computers to winners Sell More and Win Big promotion for this month in Bulawayo.
