Northern Region Soccer League – Week 10 Review

The NRSL 2025 season heads into its tenth week, and the race for the top is heating up.

This weekend promises thrilling encounters as title contenders and relegation battlers face off across the region.

Top and Bottom of the Table Clash: Agama FC vs Mwos U19
Agama FC, currently leading the table with 19 points from nine matches (W6, D1, L2), will host Mwos U19 at Pfura Stadium, Mt. Darwin.

Although Agama are favourites, they’ll be wary of a potential upset.

Mwos U19, despite sitting near the bottom with just 7 points from eight games (W2, D1, L5), have recently appointed Joseph Tangoringofa as head coach, hoping to inspire a turnaround in their fortunes.

They still have a game in hand against Trojan Mine FC, which could become crucial later in the season.

N’ombeyawora Slip, Golden Eagles Rise
N’ombeyawora, who led the pack early on, suffered their first defeat two rounds ago ironically at the hands of Agama FC.

With momentum slipping, their upcoming game against Black Mambas will be a true test of their resilience.

Golden Eagles have silently worked their way into contention and now sit third, firmly embedded in the championship race.

Their Friday fixture against Chinhoyi Stars at Chinhoyi Stadium (1500Hrs) is vital for their promotion push.

Oden FC’s Promotion Hopes Fading
Touted as promotion hopefuls before the season began, Oden FC have stumbled significantly, securing only 6 points from seven games (W1, D3, L3). This weekend, they face Ngezi U19 FC in what already feels like a must-win clash to stay within reach of the top half.
