Resisting the fall

His eyes and mind founded on delusional thoughts of wanting to make it big but not ready to work for it.

The picture of roses didn’t fall from the sky brother – there where harsh seasons, when the rain was seemingly dried up from the heavens. The time when the sun scorched the leaf ends of the rose, all this happened just for your eyes to notice the beauty arrayed in it.

The story is best told by the price placed on the plant, what price is placed on those baggy jeans and t-shirt the boys are wearing on the street? What is your story? What is your foundation like? I have seen it happening, my generation is looking at the end result, the finished product, the cream and want to indulge in it without knowing the roots of the existence of the product.

The same is the nature of the many men we see – they are motivated by the image of greatness, which is not bad but then forging the painting of greatness will not work. You are not going to immediately land in greatness! You need time in meditation, time to fall and rise, time to almost give up on everything so that you will not give up on everything.

This is the making of a fortified being ready to take a stand on the platform of greatness. Don’t run from what makes up your future, what you are today is a result of what you did yesterday and the days, even seconds back. Are you ready to get mud-stuck, are you prepared to get dirty, to stink of sweat – just for you to dress in that black tuxedo when they are celebrating your nights awake? This is what I am talking about – the feeling of ownership – when you own the purpose of the celebration – you know it within you that you worked for it.

Not buying a suit with the hard earned money your parents or relatives gave you – and you still flaunt on the street when you are nothing but a figment of another man’s sweat. You can do it the same way they are doing it, build substance in your stature. It is definitely not going to be easy but it is going to be worth it. Your life is your personal project, push at it and don’t slacken! No one will build you a castle to stay in – you have to build it yourself. The greatest thing is that at least you know what greatness looks like – that identification should fuel you enough to become the true image you see.
