“From our context it would not be right to judge a person on a color they would choose to paint their walls with. I love red but I would never paint my walls with it because the color restricts my creativity instead I would prefer white and cream.

“Having said that paint sales statistics would not be relevant on psychology of colors considering that most house interiors are painted white or cream.  The color you would choose for your walls may necessarily not be your favorite one.”

She however indicated that the theories would probably relate on color of clothing people choose.

“But on color of clothes, yes! It may apply.”

With choice of colors for houses and clothes differing and maybe for a car also not related, it is important to note that shades may not be consistent. This means judging a person based on their color choice has rooms for error. But it should be noted that there are color choices that relate to sex for example pink maybe be perfect for a woman with men often being labelled as homosexual.

Nevertheless, the psychology of color is subjective it may apply to some people.
