Songwriter and talented RnB artist Elliot Nyakauru affectionately known as Elli-ot has released a new single ‘Svutugadzike’ featuring upcoming rapper and producer Chopar, ahead of his forthcoming album.
In an interview with 263chat,Elli-ot said that he created ‘Svutugadzike’ with the intention of coming up with just an ordinary song however, he ended up making a jam related to trample down the cold winter spells.
“Many people are used to hear fast tempo summer songs therefore the song ‘Svutugadzike’ which give a rich ethnic originality, becomes unique since its opposite of the expected,” he said.
The romantic love song, according to the singer is about teaming up with your lover, joining forces to heat up things during the cold and the song is regarded by some people who have sampled it as a little naughty.
The ‘Titangidze Rudo’ hit-maker, takes this collaboration which was produced by the Hip Hop sensation Chopar, as an elevation to his career in comparison to some projects he did in the past.
Elli-ot who is under the mentorship of Russo said he is working on a project he named ‘Dhonza Mudiwa Wako’ DMW,a brand he created to make a distinction from most local RnB singers.
“I just prefer being a little difference from other singers, so I made the song a little deeper and exciting. Under this project I have released songs like Pink Lotion, the current one Svutugadzike and Wangu which I featured Varaidzo and the song is doing well on local radio stations,” said Elli-ot.
Meanwhile, the crooner who is readying his forthcoming album ‘Motivated’ due out in the few couple of months has endorsed the young rapper, Chopar saying that he has got so much talent and his works are up to the best.
