On Tuesday 17 April 2018, 263Chat published an article titled ‘Mnangagwa is not Presidential Material: Kaseke’. This was after one of our reporters attended a press conference addressed by Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Chief Executive Officer, Dr Karikoga Kaseke to share feedback regarding a recent visit by the government of Zimbabwe to China.
We unreservedly apologize for any inconvenience that the article may have caused to the office and person of Dr Kaseke. It was never our intention to damage Dr Kaseke’s reputation as suggested by the contents of the story which correctly captured his remarks about President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s trip to China.
We reiterate our commitment to continuously assist ZTA in its quest to portray a correct and positive image of Zimbabwe as a destination of choice for local tourists, international tourists and foreign investors as reflected in the numerous reports we have carried on the work by ZTA.
