Bikita Magistrates Court has denied bail to opposition MDC MP for Zengeza West Job Sikhala who was arrested and charged with subverting a constitutionally elected government.
He was remanded in custody to 24 July 2019 for routine remand.
Party spokesperson, Daniel Molekole said Sikhala was sent to Masvingo prison cells where he will be held pending his trial date.
“Hon Sikhala has been placed on remand till 24 July. He is now on his way to Masvingo remand prison” said Molekole.
