UK-based Zimbabwean gospel artist, Nursel Mandiopera is set to release her latest EP, Living in Victory.
The four track record features the lead single, Living in Victory, inspired by some of Mandiopera’s favourite verses.
“Living in victory talks about God’s will for us, about giving him thanks and remembering that victory comes from him,” said Mandiopera.
“I came to the realisation that I am living in victory. It is so easy to dismiss the little things but what I have realised on my journey as a Christian and gospel artist is that, God is faithful. He is a protector but most of all he loves us,” she added.
The ‘Like Heaven’ singer first came onto the music scene in 2015 and released several singles including, Who is there like you?
She later released her first album; You are my God, a contemporary collection of praise and worship songs in both English and Shona.
In 2016, she joined award-winning gospel ensemble, Free to Worship, writing and singing the song, Praise Him, which appears on the group’s fourth album. She also collaborated with Friends in Christ on their debut album in 2017.
She was awarded the African Contemporary artist of the year award at the recently held Praise Tek Gospel Awards.
Meanwhile, the EP will be launched online on 2 December 2019 and will be available on all digital platforms, including Spotify, Google Play and iTunes.
The forthcoming album, which is Mandiopera’s third project, is a blend of praise and worship tracks, with the key message being gratitude. The EP was recorded and produced in Birmingham and Netherlands.
“I’m always trying to find ways in which I can uplift and empower, whether it’s through music or testimony .The goal of my latest project, is to remind people to realise what they already have and to remember that they are victorious.”
“We are reaching out to TV, radio personalities and DJs to be part of our online launch, so that we can reach as many as possible,” said Mandiopera
Mandiopera will also launch her music video for Living in Victory on the same day. A local and international tour is scheduled for 2020, with tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
