Jar Prayzar, Mookomba set for Harare gardens

Afro fusion music group Mokoomba is set to share stage with man of the moment Jah Prayzah  at Harare gardens threatre park.

From Apollo Theatre, New York to Theatre in The Park, Harare, Internationally recognised and Zimbabwe’s top afro fusion band Mookomba and contemporary, Jah Prayah will square it up in Harare gardens at  a show dubbed sounds in the park.

“The history making group will be joined on stage by Jah Prazah whose music fan base has been growing from gig to gig,” said Robert Tapfumaneyi,who is the  Media and Information Officer of Rooftop Promotions.

He added that, “The musical show will become the third show to be performed at theatre in the park new stage, the first one being Bob Nyabinde’s love songs concert , followed by the recently introduced Jazz on Sunday that featured Wilbert Marowa and friends.”

The new venue which has become the home of arts industry in Zimbabwe will be used by the Victoria falls based group,as a warm up stage before their farewell show as they prepare for a European tour that will take them to seven countries.

Jar prayzar is expected to sample some of his singles which are set to be released in June.

“For their  (Mukomba) music fans theatre in the park is the place to be, As for Jah Prayah’s fans this will also be chance to listen to some of his new singles which is expected to be launched next month,” said Tapfumaneyi.

The two big musical groups will be ably supported by neo soul musician Donovan mtangira Prayersoul who will also be sampling music from his upcoming single Prayersoul will also making his first romance with the new stage for the first time bubbling with confidence as he has staged shows in Munich Germany.

Since the opening of the new venue it has brought artists of different genres and sounds in the park will be the first major gig in Harare Gardens this year.
