MDC Alliance Confident Of Electoral Victory

Opposition parties under the banner of the MDC Alliance have expressed confidence of winning the forth coming 2018 elections saying they have better strategies to win the hearts and minds of voters than the ruling Zanu PF under Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Addressing a press conference at the MDC-T Harvest House offices on Wednesday,  Nelson Chamisa who was standing in for Morgan Tsvangirai who is out of the country said they are 100 percent sure of dislodging the ruling Zanu PF from power come 2018.

“We are so sure that come the elections next year, we will be the ruling party and Zanu PF will be the opposition, that i am 100% sure of,” said Chamisa.

Chamisa added that, “We need growth, prosperity, development and happiness of the people of this land. Above all else, we need a government installed through the sovereign will of the people of Zimbabwe and that can only happen through a credible election.

“That process towards a full return to legitimacy needs African and broader international support and that was the basis of our mission.”

Tendai Biti, PDP President who is also part of the MDC Alliance boasted of their superior capacity to strategize compared to the ruling Zanu PF.

He said the coming in of a new president in Emmerson Mnangagwa had not changed anything as people have already lost hope in the new administration.
