At the 2019 Africa’s Travel Indaba tourism trade show Ilala Lodge Hotel will showcase a line-up of recent developments set to enhance guest experiences in Zimbabwe’s tourism capital, Victoria Falls.
Africa’s Travel Indaba takes place in Durban, South Africa, and attracts around 7000 international buyers and media from across the world by displaying the widest variety of Africa’s best tourism products. Ilala Lodge Hotel will exhibit on the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority stand DEC2 BO8, from 2 – 4 May 2019.
“Rich with opportunities to engage with local and international buyers, Indaba marks one of the most important African tourism events in our trade show calendar,” said Caroline Uys Marketing Manager of Ilala Lodge Hotel.
“We have helped represent a positive boost for travel and tourism in Zimbabwe by exhibiting at the Indaba Travel show for the past 25 years. At this year’s event, we look forward to showcasing our new Strathearn Suite, elegant poolside lounge and an all-new plunge pool,” added Caroline Uys.
The new Strathearn Suite marks the hotel’s most luxurious suite to date. It offers guests a private lounge, en suite bathroom, and a balcony fitted with a large hot tub overlooking world-class views of the mist that rises from Victoria Falls. A number of complimentary benefits also include a private dining experience, in-room couples’ massage, and a luxury river cruise aboard the Ra-Ikane.
The Strathearn Suite can also be transformed into the ‘Strathearn Family Suite’ via a pair of interconnecting doors into an Executive Suite and Deluxe Room, on either side of the Strathearn Suite. The extended suite delivers a comfortable and spacious accommodation option for families.
The hotel will also showcase an elegant new poolside lounge and plunge pool – a modern and sophisticated addition to the relaxing guest spaces available at the hotel. Guests are treated to breath-taking views of the mist that rises from Victoria Falls waterfall from the viewpoint of the new lounge and plunge pool.
Ilala Lodge Hotel is home to the award-winning Palm Restaurant, famous for its gourmet cuisine. While enjoying al-fresco dining under the starry African skies, guests can listen to the rumble and see the spray from the mighty Victoria Falls waterfall.
