Star Brite winner, Bryan Kadengu was at the Allianz Francaise in Harare where music lovers were treated to some fantastic music in one of the first shows of the venue. Kadengu has perfected his acts with cover songs for various international musicians including Micasa and Freddy Gwala and many other popular global musicians.

Controversial man of the moment, Andy Muridzo defied the odds and continued his date with music lovers at the Inner Café. Muridzo who has of late been making headlines for the wrong reasons was in the company of his official wife Mai Keketso who according to fans at the show had come to provide protection for his under fire man.

City father aka Baba Harare took his latest album Chikwama changu to Dandaro Inn and played to a packed house, with his collaboration song with Progress Chipfumo proving to be a fan favourite. It was the first time that the two artists performed together and their partnership seemed to have got their act right as they left fans asking for more.

On Saturday, popular gospel choir, Zimpraise held their annual auditions, largely attended by young people who wanted to try their luck.

Baba Shero as Alick Macheso is popularly known these days invaded Ruwa. Sungura had a good dose of the legendary Tafadzwa Nyarara hitmaker’s acts which included dances that kept fans glued to the stage. Macheso’s act proved why he will remain one of Zimbabwe’s leading live performers as he kept the audience on their toes throughout his performance.

Macheso followed up his Saturday act with another one at Jongwe corner where he had the most attended show of the weekend. At Jongwe Corner, Macheso sampled some of his new songs and judging from the audience, his new album will be a scorcher.

Zimdancehall affair was in Dzivarasekwa with star man Seh Calaz recording a low turn-out. Seh Calaz seems to be getting it wrong, he needs to learn from past his mistakes and perfect his performances.
