18 year old Bikita young man, Alexio Muzandaka, who broke his spinal code after falling from an Avocado tree is appealing for urgent assistance to repay those who helped him undergo an operation at Parirenyatwa hospital.
Muzandaka, who is only son to a single mother, Angilla Mujinga, is also appealing for financial aid to enroll at a technical and vocational skills development school so that he will be able to sustain himself.
The mother has been issued a letter of demand of payment from Mineview debt collectors.

Mr Ndongwe, who is a teacher at Chirumba High School in Bikita narrated how Muzandaka ended up in a wheelchair.
“Alexio started his A level studies at Chirumba High school, Bikita this year. Unfortunately during the April school holiday he fell from an Avocado tree and broke his spinal cord.
His body coordination got disturbed and he was admitted at Parirenyatwa.
He went through an urgent operation which needed close to $2 000. His family managed to raise $1 100.
Ndongwe also said that he spearheaded a fundraising commitment and raised the remaining $900.
“Muzandaka’s condition forced him to drop out of school. He now needs assistance to train for anything that suits his challenges for a living.
“The mother is no longer capable of raising funds for his education since she is still paying debts incurred from the operation,” narrated Ndongwe.
