Buy Zim Partners Varsity Students In Buy Local Campaign

Buy Zimbabwe has partnered National Movement Catholic Students (NMCS),in its Buy local campaign as part of its efforts to do consumer education and foster for preferential of local products.

According to Buy Zimbabwe, the partnership will see the two holding massive campaigns in August to encourage buying of locally produced products.

“Despite government’s efforts to encourage the buying of locally produced products, consumers seem to have shown less interest over the years and Buy Zimbabwe in conjunction with a catholic student board is set to do a massive campaign in August.

“Buy Zimbabwe is of the firm belief that the young generations are the backbone of the economy, therefore their support for local manufacturers, entrepreneurs and service providers remains our top priority,” they said.

Buy Zimbabwe dded that the interaction with the young generation is aimed at providing a larger base and effective ways to reach to the more general consumers.

“Through interaction with the young generation, this will provide a larger base and effective way to reach to the more general consumers. The collaboration will strengthen Buy Zimbabwe’s ability to foster for preferential of local products, and community knowledge sharing, to disrupt the cycle of unhealthy foreign imports that have since flooded the country,” the organisation said.
