Volleyball League Enters Week Two

The Zimbabwe National Volleyball (ZNV) League week 2 games are on this weekend at White City stadium in Bulawayo.

This round sees the police side Support Unit, both men and women, joining the games as they were on national duty.

Newcomers Highlanders Men will also be playing their debut match in the National League. Each team will play at most three games and at least two games.

University of Zimbabwe (UZ) Wolves men and women are currently topping the log as they swept past all their opponents in the first round of games.

However, the women need to be wary of Harare City Ladies as well as Spartans who might offer them some resistance.

Brian Manuel, the Vice President Competitions said, “the return of Support Unit Men from national duty will add spice to the games as they are a bogey side to UZ Wolves Men “.

Games will start at 9am and end at 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
