FBC Holdings Group Chief Executive, Trynos Kufazvinei says the company is a driven organisation that supports stakeholder-led initiatives that are designed to deliver long-term benefits to vulnerable communities.
Speaking at the Shungu Dzevana Trust building project groundbreaking ceremony in Harare, Trynos Kufazvinei said Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our sustainability strategy.
“We are fully committed to enhancing the social, environmental and economic well-being of indigent members of society,” Kufazvinei said.
He added that the company’s operations are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which aim to solve big global challenges like poverty and climate change.
“As the FBC Group, we believe in building a symbiotic relationship with the communities we serve,” he said.
He said the FBC goal is to be a reliable provider of financial services and a responsible corporate citizen that actively gives back to the community.
Kufazvinei said as a community-driven institution, remains with the Group’s corporate vision: ‘To nurture sustainable solutions that enable the financial well-being of the communities we serve.
“We continue to invest in sustainable and philanthropic initiatives that ensure our operations deliver a lasting impact, especially for vulnerable children and marginalised communities,” said Kufazvinei.
He also mentioned that the company’s support plays a role in helping Zimbabwe achieve eight of the UN’s key development goals.
