Fun loving Harare-ans will on the 24th of March be in for another fine treat as the popular Big Turn Up concert returns under a unique theme, Classic Weekend which according to the organizers captures yesteryear moments.
The Classic Weekend, the 5th edition after Valenturnup and will be held at Newlands Country Club from 1200hrs to 2200hrs will capture the fashion trends, music and cars of the 80s, 90s and 2000, according to Big Turn Up, Corporate Communications and Public Relations Manager, Samantha Banda.
“This edition captures the fashion trends, the music and cars of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s,
“To support the classy element through music will be Afro-jazz superstar, Alexio Kawara and Shades of Black together with dynamic female vocalist Tamy who is just fresh from her debut European tour,
“Our band at this month’s festive is the Okinna Fikkatsu Band who are known for unique rearranging of golden classic, the DJ line up features one of the best duo in the game ROYAL DJS (JUICE AND AM) who are known for bringing lit nights at Pabloz Club and VIP Royal Fridays and female Dj KING//HER will be also on be on rotation and an addition to the DJ list,” said Banda.
The Big Turn Up has hosted successful events and is promising the Classic Weekend to be yet another bang.
