Castle Lager PSL second half kicks off

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League second half kicks off this weekend with  a number of explosive encounters to look forward to that include the match between Chicken Inn and CAPS United as the Gamecocks are set to maintain top of the log table, whilst Dynamos will be hoping to pounce on Hwange at Rufaro Stadium.

The second half of the season is in for a tight contest as Gamecocks are currently leading the log table whilst Triangle, How Mine and reigning champions are in hot pursuit and it seems the above mentioned teams will be involved in a four-horse race for the title.

Chicken Inn are on top with 29 points and Joey Antipas’ charges will be hoping to turn the tables against CAPS United who beat them 2-0 last week and they will be banking on their watertight defence to win the encounter.

The Gamecocks who bemoaned poor officiating in their 2-nill loss will be hoping to inflict revenge on Makepekepe when they host them at Luveve Stadium.

FC Platinum will host the Gweru army based team Chapungu at Mandava Stadium and Norman Mapeza’s side will hoping to utilise the home advantage and turn last week’s goalless stalemate into a win over the visitors.

Harare City will host new comers Flame Lily at Rufaro Stadium and this promise to be exciting encounter as the later will fighting to get out of the relegation zone against the Sunshine boys who are inform these days.

Action continues on Sunday when Harare giants host Hwange at Rufaro Stadium and the host will be hoping to utilise on the home advantage and turn last week’s one all draw into win.

On the other hand Tsholotsho who are fourth from bottom with 14 points are also in dire need of points as they hope to move from the drop zone.
