Young Sables Fall to Kenya as Namibia Wins Barthes Cup

Zimbabwe’s Under-20 rugby team, the Young Sables, performed spiritedly but narrowly lost 22- 21 to Kenya’s Chipu in the Barthes Cup final round.

Despite flashes of brilliance and moments of dominance, the Young Sables couldn’t capitalize fully, missing out on a second-place finish.

Namibia eventually claimed the championship after crushing Tunisia 81-7. While the defeat was disappointing, Zimbabwe’s players showed immense promise and heart, leaving fans hopeful for a stronger showing in future competitions.

Here are some scenes from the match.
