Celebrated Zimdancehall artist, Kelvin Kusikwenyu, popularly known as Killer T, failed to perform at the Zanu PF million man march citing poor sound quality.

Killer T was supposed to perform shortly before  the arrival of President Mugabe  but poor sound quality downplayed his performance.

He briefly took to the stage but midway through his first song, the sound system acted up with the performance failing to sync with the sound.

Sound engineers tried to fix the blunder but their efforts were futile.

With the crowd eagerly waiting for the chairman, backtracks were used while the sound system was being attended to.

The talented youthful artiste  could be heard fuming  that the system was of very poor quality hence he could not belittle and short change his fans by giving them a shoddy performance.

He finally took to the stage to announce that he could not be performing, much to the agitation of the waiting fans.

He was booed off as he left the stage with some youths pelting him with empty water bottles. Police details had to be called to restore order as angry fans seemed to want a piece of the Chairman.

“He could have just performed with that system inga wani Dougie ashandisa system iyoyo saka iye akoshei (Douglas Chimbetu used the same system, what is so special about Killer T),” fumed one disappointed fan.

Efforts to get a comment from the musician and his manager  were fruitless as their mobile phones could not be reached.

Thousands of Zanu pf supporters  had earlier on been treated to music from Douglas Chimbetu and Mbare Chimurenga choir.

Another  early highlight was the Black Spirits fronted by Tuku on acoustic guitar and vocals.
Each time he played a song the cheers grew louder . The granddad of music took fans back-and-forth mixing old and new songs.

Mtukudzi gave a scintillating performance with dignitaries including the First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe and the two Vice Presidents taking chances to outdo each with different dance moves which left thousands of Zanu supporters in stitches .
