Struggling football giants Dynamos FC have appointed former striker Takesure Chinyama as the club’s new Strikers Development Coach and Assistant Coach.
The announcement comes as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the club’s technical department amid a challenging domestic league campaign. Chinyama, a former Dynamos star with a career spanning nearly two decades, brings both pedigree and proven credentials. He holds a UEFA B coaching license and has plied his trade in Poland, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
Club officials applauded the move as a key step toward stabilising the squad while laying the groundwork for long-term success.
“His expertise and experience will be a valuable addition to the team as we work towards turning around our performances,” the club said in a statement.
Chinyama joins the setup under the stewardship of Head Coach Lloyd Chigowe, who remains at the helm with full backing from the club’s leadership. The announcement comes just days ahead of a crucial league clash against Triangle FC, where Dynamos hopes to bounce back from a rocky start to the season.
Dynamos, one of Zimbabwe’s most decorated football clubs, urged supporters to stay united during this transition phase.
