Former Zambian President Edgar Lungu has died at the age of 68, a spokesperson for his Tonse Alliance has confirmed.
In April, the Zambian government announced that Lungu was undergoing cancer treatment in South Africa.
Lungu served as Zambia’s sixth president from January 2015 until August 2021.
