Downward spiral continues for Chelsea and Liverpool. Who says the Gunners need a striker??? Martial dream debut and City keep rolling!!
So are the Blues already out the title race?? I don’t know, but they would need to be flawless from here on out to defend their title. There are some rather obvious issues here. That ageing backline is going to continue to get them into trouble. Ivanovic continues to be the weak link and u have to wonder when Mou will decide to bench him. Problem is who does he bring in. Chelsea have NO depth and its starting to show. With the out of sorts Cesc and a still to get into gear Hazard they are lacking that cutting edge that saw them win the title. I have faith in Mou to put something right, and with the Gunners visiting next week he needs to do it fast!!
The Gunners finally looked like the Gunners. Free flowing football, in a game they should have scored 6 or 7. Alexis hit the woodwork twice, and Theo and Giroud gave the fans calling for a Striker something to cheer about. Good rehearsal for Chelsea next week. If there was ever a time to win at Stamford Bridge, this is it.
City ummm who the fˆˆˆ is Inheneacho !! Hey I don’t know the kid but he made sure City kept a 100% record. No Aguero, Sterling, Silva, u knew City would struggle but they still did enough!!! If those 3 come back soon they will continue to dominate.
MUFC v Liverpool: Not an easy on the eyes kinda game. If I am honest both teams don’t look convincing. But UTD were more clinical and settled better in the end.
Benteke’s goal people!!!! amazing.
Martial looked good for his goal. I hate UTD but i am rooting for this kid. With a price tag like that, there is bound to be pressure on him.
Liverpool, where do they go from here. Brando out of ideas. I will say it again. Klopp waiting for you Liverpool!!!
Rankings this week
1. City keep their place. No brainer here guys
2. The Gunners go into 2nd finally looking like a team.
3. UTD, they still don’t look great but they got the win. No Wazza either. I don’t know how they will do against sterner opposition though.
4. Chelsea/Liverpool, Take your pick here. Both teams are pretty shocking right now. If i had to pick i would say Chelsea over Liverpool. But hey thats just coz Mou is not Rodgers.
