
FORMER Highlanders and national team coach, Rahman Gumbo, has been appointed as the new head coach at defending champions Chicken Inn.

Gumbo replaces Joey Antipas who is leaving Chicken Inn for Amazulu in the South African National First Division. Antipas signed a deal with AmaZulu last week and will start his new job on July 1.
Chicken Inn, had been mum about their next gaffer, they finally announced Gumbo on Tuesday afternoon.
The veteran coach who has seen his coaching career taking him to neighbouring Malawi and Botswana will bring his expertise to a club that seeks to defend the title that they won under Antipas’ tutelage.
